My name is Shabuungo Ouda Ouda, I was born and grown in the beautiful Island of Jamaica, where eating authentic and spicy food is our culture and being a Rasta man our vibz's are even more unique because we have different ways of expression in whatever we do.
As Rasta's such as the way our food are prepared and what we eat, the color we wear, the music we sing & play. Hailing Rastafari as our core of life, our ways of living is to bring that balance which is needed in every one's life, your food is a key component to that achievement.
Moving from Jamaica to Canada and making Calgary my home for past 10 years. Being involve in the Reggae community and knowing and having so much friends who love this culture and seeing that Calgary embrace a multi cultural foundation.
We see the need for such food and service, knowing that we have friends & visitors all the time coming to this beautiful city and needing to find this kind of food. They hear reggae music, and see Rasta's everywhere in the city, so there must be a place where they go to eat or someone cook for them and they know that food is Ital because that's way we eat.
The stew dishes we offer our fiends to experience are Peas, beans and vegetable base cook in the rich coconut milk with special blend of herbs and spices, Scotch bonnet pepper, yellow Plantain, sweet Potato, okra, Ackee ,Corn, and the list goes on.
We select the freshest & the best fruits and vegetable we can find in the market place.
We do have our small farmers friends that provide us at time with their produce, so that we can spice that original Ital stew to give you that experience of clean, natural, revitalizing food. Ital food, Rasta food, Reggae food .
Our meals are cooked freshly to your order. We do catering for our friends lunches, dinner and parties.
The service we offer is simple and straight forward. You need an Ital experience!
